These exports accounted for 43.5% of Cambodia's total exports, which reached $20.81 billion. Imports from the US also rose significantly, valued at approximately $376.93 million. Despite US tariffs, officials express confidence in continued growth, particularly in textiles and consumer goods, supported by new investments. Cambodia's favorable investment environment and competitive labor costs further encourage production expansion. Bilateral trade reached $13.15 billion in 2025, marking a 29.2% increase from 2024. Cambodia, Australia establish framework to accelerate agri-food investment The Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) and Australian Embassy convened investors and agribusinesses to present the Agri-Food Industrial Park (AIP) Framework, approved by Prime Minister Hun Manet on May 29, 2026. The framework seeks to drive agri-food industrialization through private investment, creating jobs, particularly for women, and contributing an estimated $5.1 billion to Cambodia's economy over 20 years. Deputy Prime Minister Sun Chanthol emphasized strengthening agricultural competitiveness and sustainable growth, while Australian Ambassador Derek Yip highlighted domestic processing as key to resilience and market opportunities, given agriculture's role in employing over a third of the population and supporting exports. PPAP records 54% of FY2026 revenue target in 1H Listed Phnom Penh Autonomous Port (PPAP) reported KHR 113.96 billion ($28.37 million) in total revenue for H1 2026, achieving 54.14% of its full-year target. This marks a KHR 25.36 billion ($6.28 million) increase from H1 2025, representing a 28.63% YoY growth attributed to higher cargo handling and container throughput. CEO Hei Bavy highlighted improved delivery efficiency and modernization initiatives as key factors. PPAP handled 339,606 TEUs, up 31.56% from the previous year.
