Monsne Café sees fast growth
Monsne Café—Cambodian local beverage brand that offers coffee, tea and flavored drinks made with Hokkaido milk—is witnessing fast growth after launching its first mobile cart in April. According to Serey Sopheak, owner of Monsne Café, a total of 15 franchises were sold, with another 500 people asking to buy the franchise. Currently, the mobile café brand has seven franchised beverage carts operating in Phnom Penh, with another eight to open soon in the capital, one set to hit the streets in Siem Reap and another in Battambang. The $20,000 franchise fee includes a Monsne Café cart, beverage ingredients, packaging and training. Franchisees pay a $300 monthly “loyalty fee” for the first three years of operation and receive a designated sales territory. (Source: Phnom Penh Post)
